Focus: Large Part Molding Using 1400 Ton Press

Summary: The part pictured here is a collapsible shipping crate that is one example of the kind of large part we can now mold with the addition of our three latest presses. The largest of which is capable of producing a shot size of almost 15 pounds.

This crate is currently being used to ship everything from produce to auto parts. When collapsed it is a mere three inches thick and can be easily transported back to the farm or factory for repeated reuse.

Although the initial cost is greater for this type of crate, in the long run it is a cheaper solution in addition to the fact that it is extremely strong, durable and impervious to water or other moisture. It is an excellent solution to any number of shipping situations.
