We want our customers to feel confident that we can handle just about any project they might be compelled to give us. Our complete line of presses here at Plasticorp includes machines of all sizes and several different types. With clamping forces ranging from 30 to 1500 tons and shot size from less than one-tenth of a gram to several pounds, there are few projects we can not handle for lack of equipment. In addition, we have a number of unique presses that are specifically equipped to handle certain parts very efficiently. These include:

Rotary Press
Our Cincinnatti 90 Ton Rotary Press is an ideal machine for running many of the insert molded parts we produce for the electronics industry. These machines allow the operator to precisely place a metal insert horizontally, rather than vertically, into the cavity rather. In addition, we have equipped this machine with a vision inspection system that can detect a misplaced insert before the mold closes thereby preventing costly damage and downtime.

Two Color/Two Material
This press allows for the injection of two different materials or two different colors of the same material during a single cycle. This can often simiplify the process of overmolding a plastic insert by molding both parts at the same time.

Large Presses
With the addition of our three latest presses, we will no longer have to decline projects that involve the molding of large parts. In conjuction with the large presses we will be installing a paint line with which we will be able to finish parts lik television cabinets, monitors, etc.
