SEND US A DRAWING FILE
Although we do not quite have a direct satellite link to the Internet, we do have a dedicated connection and you can send us a drawing by e-mail or ftp.
E-Mail
Although e-mail is not always the best method to use for sending large files, we have had reasonably good success sending drawing files this way even up to a couple of megabytes.
FTP
The File Transfer Protocol can be used for larger drawing files or even smaller ones if you prefer this method. In the interests of security and confidentiality for both you and Plasticorp, our FTP site is not set up to allow anonymous login. In order to access the site you will need to be issued a login name and password which will be for the exclusive use of you and others at your company. To receive your login name and password please contact John Schaefer in the Engineering Department. After receiving your name and password, use your FTP client of choice to gain access to our site at ftp.plasticorp.com.
File Formats
Our engineering group here at Plasticorp uses CADKEY 98 and SOLIDWORKS 98. We can translate a number of different file formats including PRT, STL, IGS, DWG, DXF, SAT and STEA.
