Focus: Small Shot Size - Close Tolerance Molding

Summary: One of the greatest challenges in molding small, close tolerance parts is ensuring consistent quality. Some of the parts we mold are so small that it is virtually impossible to measure dimensions accurately by hand.

Quality inspection for these types of parts must be performed at our video inspection station. Equipped with a magnification lens and a motorized inspection surface, this station is capable of being programmed to automatically inspect a part and print a report without operator intervention. With this technology it is possible for us to inspect and deliver quality parts to our customers that weigh just hundredths of a gram.
